While it is visible, use Facebook’s Share or Copy link option if the interface offers one. A profile link is not a Story URL.

Save a Facebook Story while it is accessible
Stories are temporary. Submit the direct link while the Story is still publicly visible; SSSFb can offer a video only if the source remains accessible during the check.
Private, expired or removed Stories cannot be recovered. SSSFb does not archive Stories for later retrieval.
Compatibility checked on
A Story link can stop working when its visibility period ends, its owner removes it, or its audience becomes restricted. Check it while it is still available.
Use the link to the individual Story, not the author’s profile. The result depends on the media Facebook exposes at analysis time.
Check a Story before its access window closes
Submit the direct link
Paste it into SSSFb and analyze it promptly. The Story needs to remain publicly accessible during the check.
Save only a returned file
If a video format appears, download it through your browser. An expired or unavailable Story cannot be restored by retrying later.
The short availability window matters

A Story may no longer be available after its display period or if its owner removes it.
One Story per link
Submit the URL for the specific Story; profile archives and bulk Story downloads are not available.
Public access only
Sign-in restrictions, privacy settings and removal remain in force.

Can SSSFb retrieve a Story after it expires?+
No. If Facebook no longer exposes it through an accessible link, SSSFb cannot restore or retrieve it.
Why does a current Story produce no file?+
The link may identify a profile instead of a Story, the audience may be restricted, or no compatible video stream may be exposed.
Does SSSFb keep a copy of Stories?+
No. This tool checks the submitted link; it is not a Story archive.
